Day 20- Poor Baby

Monday 11th May Went in this morning for a try at another feed. Got there and Noah wouldn’t even wake up he was breathing very heavy over night and needed to see the doctor. I tried ot wake him for 20 minutes but he was just too tired to want the breast like he was not hungry at all. The doctor came round and ordered him some more blood tests as his kidneys were over secreting something and it was making it hard for him to breath. The blood test was done and it was as the doctor thought. I tried to feed him again at 12 feed and he would open his mouth but has no suck as all. He has been pooing heaps still and did put on 20grams – 1545grams and his nappy rash was much better. Feeling really flat we had one good feed and since then things are not as great.

I spoke to the midwife and Noah is much better tonight. Has his eyes open and looking around his resps have dropped and sats stable. Am so happy! 33weeks+1 corrected by 28/6/09
