We have been bargain hunting everywhere and have got so much stuff for the baby it is really starting to sink in that he or she will be coming in a few months. I am also very relieved at the amount of money we have spent and saved on buying second hand. I know the most expensive part will be the disposables like nappies, bubble bath and wipes. Clothes will be too but I am hoping we can use heaps of hand me downs.

SO yesterday I went to the second hand baby shop in Modbury and got a change table. It is the most yukky green you have ever seen but it folds up nicely and funnily enough matches the 70’s décor of the house. Cost $20
We have been watching eBay like a hawk and managed to get a cradle with linen for $100. Most of the linen is pink but I think if it ends up being a boy I will give it to friends who are having a girl. The cradle is huge but doesn’t have a mattress and it seems quite hard to find one too. But we will because I am the bargain hunter queen.
Through EB trading room I managed to get a Glider which I have always wanted to breastfed in for $75 and came with a free pram. I am so over the moon the glider is so perfect and makes me feel like a real mummy.
